Shedding some lights on the horizontal floodlights!

Floodlights are basically high intensity lights which have a wide use in commercial and residential field. Whatever be the area, the basic purpose of flood lights is to provide sufficient light to cover large areas. There may be many reasons to install flood lights, like for security reasons and for night time activities like in sports which have a long playtime or even for holding events at night.
They can also be used for illuminating specific signs to guide travellers or even locals. They can be used in night time fairs and carnivals for as decorative lighting as well. Further uses of floodlights may include illuminating important and historical sites and monuments. Some LED floodlight manufacturers have even invented such lights which have the option of adjusting the throw or distribution of light. Therefore it is not necessary that floodlights should be thought of being only limited to wide distribution. That is why they can also be used for focus lighting as well.
LED floodlights are very matchless in their performance, efficiency, power consumptions and longevity. Unlike conventional metal halide lamps and fluorescent lamps, these lights do not require nay warm up time. The power consumption is almost less than half of conventional lights. They do not heat up like ordinary lights. The biggest problem with CFLs or HPSs is that their efficiency is greatly affected by their heating. Most if the power is converted to heat. LED floodlight manufacturers provide heat sinks to dissipate heat. This also protects the lights from burning and contributes in the long life of these lights.
There are also many customization options with these lights. They are available in different light intensities and colours. They can also be dimmed with having to change their orientation. They are available in different shapes and sizes for use in residential and commercial purposes.
